Indeed Flex co-founder and CEO Jack Beaman was inspired to create the Indeed Flex platform, formerly Syft, after undertaking temporary shifts during university. He felt the sector was outdated and inefficient, with employers having little say in staffing decisions and workers receiving low wages and limited opportunities. In partnership with Novo Constare, they were able to democratise access to work by giving jobseekers ownership, control and choice.
