Through campaigns, events, training and research we support and celebrate small businesses across in the UK. With a mission to accelerate and inspire small businesses at the heart of the UK economy, Small Business Britain aims to foster a more confident and inclusive entrepreneurial community.
This includes targeted campaigns to champion female entrepreneurs, founders from ethnic minority backgrounds and most recently spearheading The Lilac Review, an independent, government-backed review which seeks to identify, and remove the barriers faced by disabled-led businesses in the UK.
Small Business Britain also runs a number of programmes to help small firms develop and grow in key areas such as sustainability and green skills, digital skills, as well as running the ever popular Small and Mighty Enterprise programme to supercharge sole traders and micro businesses with expert guidance and mentoring.
Alongside this Small Business Britain also runs The Small Awards, which recognises the smallest and greatest firms, as well as being the team behind the Small Business Saturday UK campaign, which promotes the value and contribution of small businesses across the UK and encourages people to shop locally and support small firms in their communities.
