The British Business Excellence Awards took place at London’s Grosvenor Hotel

The Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards celebrates the cream of the crop among businesses across the country, shining a spotlight on entrepreneurs who made an outstanding contribution in the past year. The awards ceremony was held at London’s Grosvenor Hotel on Tuesday, November 8. Dozens of Britain’s elite businesses filled the room filled to celebrate the best in British business excellence. The evening was filled with a night of outstanding entertainment and speeches from Sarah Austin, Director of the Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards, and Paul Gordon, Lloyds Banking Group Managing Director for SME & MID Corporates, giving inspirational talks to all finalists and winners.

Sir Trevor McDonald OBE was a compere for the spectacular awards ceremony and introduced the full list of winners across 17 different categories. The ORESA Leader of the Year Award went to Ali Parsa, CEO of Babylon Health, while The Lloyds Bank New Business of the Year Award was awarded to Revive Collagen. Fever-Tree was honoured with The Department for International Trade Exporter of the Year Award, while Aircards was listed in the Highly Commended category. For The Virgin Atlantic and Delta Air Lines Business Enabler of the Year Award, the winner was BigChange and the Highly Commended was Route 101 Ltd. The Employer of the Year award was given to Octopus Energy and the Highly Commended category was given to Blink. Littlefish was honoured with The Lloyds Bank Mid-Market Business of the Year Award while The Simulator Company and Green Retreats were awarded the Highly Commended category. The Lloyds Bank Small to Medium Sized Business of the Year Award winner was Curious Universe and Sinewave was given the Highly Commended. 

The New Entrepreneur of the Year Award was given to Mitchell Franklin, UMATR meanwhile Tim Keaveney and Matt Aubrey, Homethings were honoured in the Highly Commended category. The other full list of winners are as follows: The LDC Entrepreneur of the Year Award, Lizzie Carter, Only Curls. The Technology Innovation Award Winner: CharterSync Limited, Highly Commended – Endomag. The Lloyds Bank Local Business of the Year Award Winner – Jackson Family Funeral Directors, Highly Commended – For The Love of the North. The Purpose Before Profit Award Winner – Cotswold Fayre Ltd, Highly Commended – PPL. The Diversity Champion of the Year Award Winner – Foundervine. The Gateley Business Transformation of the Year Award Winner – SF Recruitment, Highly Commended – OCL Facades Ltd. The Scale Up Business of the Year Award Winner – Aker Systems, Highly Commended – Redkite. The Lloyds Bank Sustainable Business of the Year Award Winner – Sinewave, Highly Commended – WJ Group. The ESG Champion of the Year Award Winner – Reflex Vehicle Hire.
