The wait is finally over. We’re delighted to announce the top 100 SME businesses in the UK following a rigorous judging process by leading industry professionals.
Despite the economic and political uncertainty, SMEs contribute over £2 trillion in turnover to the UK economy each year and employ 44% of the British workforce. Elite Business introduced the Elite Business 100 (EB100) to recognise and celebrate change-makers in the British business industry.
The EB100 are Britain’s top-performing SME businesses demonstrating year-on-year growth, exemplary customer service, innovative business models and a robust infostructure.
“Making the list in the EB100 league is truly an achievement to be proud of,” said Piers Linney. “The business plans of the finalists to ensure stability through the current economic hardship is remarkable, not to mention the still lingering impacts from the pandemic. The EB100 has shown that despite all of this, they haven’t allowed it to hinder the overall performance of their businesses, and many have, in fact, thrived. These top 100 SMEs have impressed us with their innovation and growth – they deserve huge recognition for their efforts.”
Emma Sayle, Founder and CEO, Killing Kittens, added, “It was a real pleasure to be part of the judging panel for the inaugural EB100. I’ve been impressed and inspired by the quality of entrants and look forward to celebrating the winners”.
The winners will come together in London on March 17th for a special celebratory awards evening and be included in the EB100 digital guide and online directory, which will have a half million viewership over 2023.
The celebrations continue at the England v Ukraine game at Club Wembley on March 26th, where it will be another superb opportunity to network and meet the judges.
