Following the initial success of producing body care for other companies, the business developed its own distribution range. Trade fairs worldwide have been instrumental in building brand awareness and developing valued customer relationships. Over the years, the company has been recognized with many prestigious awards for business and design, including The Queen’s Award. With a trusted network of distributors, the company now operates in over 50 countries.
Design is at the core of the business. The company boasts an in-house design studio with a large team of highly skilled designers who work tirelessly to create exquisite packaging for every product.
In 2021, The Somerset Toiletry Company opened a soap manufacturing facility in Somerset. Since then, all soaps have been produced locally, significantly reducing the company’s carbon footprint. They are committed to using high-quality, eco-friendly ingredients and work closely with trusted suppliers.
One key ingredient in their soap production is ‘segregated palm oil’, certified by The Round Table of Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO). This ensures 100% traceability from only two locations—the Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea—where there is no threat to endangered species such as orangutans, tigers, and rhinos.
