Snap Finger Click is an independent game developer based in Brighton, UK. They make games that people can play together, both in the living room and online over Twitch. A founding principle of Snap Finger Click is to make games that anyone can enjoy, factoring in how modern-day socialisation takes place. The company currently consists of 13 people.
Since starting out in 2015, Snap Finger Click has released seven games. In 2019, Snap Finger Click began a partnership with Ubisoft, a major game publisher, to release Family Feud and Trivial Pursuit Live! 2. Released in 2020 and 2022 respectively, both games shipped simultaneously on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and Stadia. Snap Finger Click has also released ACT IT OUT XL!, a party game based on charades, Awkward, a virtual card game made for a mature audience, and It’s Quiz Time, a trivia game played with smartphones as the controller. All of Snap Finger Click’s games feature ‘Live Show’ technology which allows anyone to join in when the game is streamed on Twitch by typing commands into the chat. Participants do not need a copy of the game or even a games console to join in.
Snap Finger Click has been recognised as one of GamesIndustry.biz’s ‘Best Places to Work‘ and was chosen by the UK Government (CIC) CreaTech in their ‘Ones to Watch‘ in 2021.
