Richard McManus is Professor of Economics at Canterbury Christ Church University. A qualified chartered accountant who began his career with EY, he holds an MSc and PhD in Economics from the University of York. His research focuses on macroeconomics, fiscal policy and its distributional consequences, including the impact of government spending, taxation and economic policy on businesses and households.
