Aline Miller is Professor in the School of Engineering, Associate Dean for Business Engagement and Innovation and CSO for Unit M at the University of Manchester. Here she has won several awards for her research and leadership and published over 100 refereed papers, authored 5 patents and has won ~£20M from research councils, EU, charities and industry to support her research. Aline is also Academic Innovation Lead for Sister – Manchester's new £1.7bn innovation district in the heart of the city.
