Times two: de Novo Solutions retains its place in fastest growing UK firms ranking

Welsh technology firm de Novo Solutions has secured a place on the Sunday Times 100 for the second consecutive year, cementing its position among the UK's fastest growing companies

Welsh technology pioneers de Novo Solutions have earned a place on the Sunday Times 100 for the second year running.

The prestigious list highlights the fastest growing companies in the UK, with de Novo having been ranked in both 2025 and Friday June 5.

Launched in 2021, the company provides digital transformation expertise to add value to clients’ HR, payroll, procurement and finance functions, counting police forces, local councils and government departments among their clients, alongside private companies such as DHL.

Proudly headquartered in Langstone, Newport, de Novo, which was placed 71st on the list, has secondary offices in England and India. The team has grown to 140 employees and the company also has a thriving graduate and apprenticeship scheme in partnership with the University of South Wales.

Founder and group chief executive Mark Sweeny said: “Appearing on the Sunday Times 100 in 2025 was one of the highlights of the last five years, so to have been ranked again this year is almost beyond what we could have hoped for. It is an incredible achievement which I am sure all of the team are proud of, as it reflects their hard work and dedication.

“Our journey has really been something special; we have always known that, but it’s of course fantastic to have this independently verified by respected sources such as the Sunday Times, as well as the Financial Times, as we appeared on the FT 1000 this year too, a similar list which covers all of Europe.

“The Sunday Times repeat listing showcases our progress towards the helm of the digital transformation sector in the UK. And, as ever, we are proud to fly the flag for Wales alongside the other Welsh companies featured on the list.”
