We officially launched the business in October 2020; amidst the second covid lockdown so due to restrictions we properly launched in Spring 2021.
After launching our yurts, we grew the business through the acquisition of a mobile glamping company in April 2021. Our large event yurts host up to 90 people and are used for intimate weddings, charity events and family parties. We also have over 70 bell tents used for hosting over 120 guests for a unique glamping experience.
Covering Yorkshire and neighbouring counties, we work at festivals, weddings and business events. In 2022, we launched our own pop-up glamping site aimed at hen party groups which has proven really popular and is almost sold out for 2025. We also work with large Yorkshire attractions to provide long term glamping set-ups for their summer season.
Sustainability is core to our business; we made the decision to purchase higher quality equipment, so it lasts longer, we don’t use single use flooring or plastics and we offset our travel through planting a tree for each booking.
We’re unique within the industry that we’re a predominantly female team and we have roles within community schemes to help entrepreneurs like ourselves get into business and grow.
We’ve recently stepped into the world of e-commerce through another business acquisition of The Bell Tent Shop to offer curated glamping equipment.
