Elite Business 100: Opening our doors to the best of Britain’s SMEs

Entries are flooding in for the Elite Business 100: our prestigious listing that commends the unparalleled dedication and brilliance within the SME sector

The top 100 entrants will be showcased in a dedicated league table and annual digital guide in January 2024, shining a light on the very best of the best that entrepreneurial Britain has to offer.

Finalists will also be invited to the coveted awards ceremony on the 13th March 2024, at the Leonardo Royal Hotel, St Paul’s, London to celebrate their distinguished success.

We’re inviting both previous nominees and newcomers to enter – give your business a chance to shine and be featured amongst the elite.

Here’s our entrant criteria:

Employee size 2-250
Company turnover 100K-50M
UK based business, independent, privately owned and trading for the last 2 years

Our esteemed panel of judges comprises industry leaders like Flavilla Fongang, the award-winning entrepreneur; Piers Linney, a notable Founder and CEO; and Simone Roche MBE, the brain behind Northern Power Women & Power Collective CIC.

Sophie Milliken

Sophie Milliken MBE is founder and CEO at Moja Group. Moja work with entrepreneurs and senior executives to amplify their personal profiles and become known authorities in their industries.

A multi award-winning businesswoman and proud mum, Sophie also enjoys supporting the North East region. Sophie is a supporter of Northern Power Women and co-founder of City Ladies Networking. She is Chair of Smart Works Newcastle and has achieved huge success delivering the aim of doubling the number of unemployed women supported with interview clothing and coaching across the North East and securing Sara Davies MBE as the charity’s ambassador. In June 2021, Sophie became a Founding Ambassador for Every Child Needs a Mentor.

Sophie was awarded an MBE in the 2023 New Year Honours List for services to Business and to Education.
