The Scottish Bee Company

The Scottish Bee Company crafts pure honey and Scottish produce, dedicated to ethical slow food practices, sustainability, and pollinator conservation.

At The Scottish Bee Company, we are passionate about producing pure honey and Scottish produce with a purpose. Founded in 2017 by Suzie and Iain Millar, our journey began with a deep commitment to sustainability, authenticity, and environmental stewardship. Alarmed by the decline in bee populations, we set out to make a difference – not only by providing bees to beekeepers across Scotland but also by supporting all pollinators through our sister charity, Repollinate. With every unit sold, we donate to Repollinate, helping to fund essential education initiatives and wildflower projects that protect and restore vital pollinator habitats.

We believe that great food starts with great ingredients. Every product we create is minimally processed and deeply connected to the soil, climate and environment that shape them – embodying the principles of slow food and regenerative farming. From our ethical honey and beeswax to our carefully sourced scents and ingredients, we ensure that everything we produce respects both the environment and the people involved in its creation.

Sustainability is at the core of our ethos, influencing everything from our packaging choices to our fair and flexible working conditions. Our mission is not just to deliver delicious, natural products but to create a positive impact on our planet. Whether through our wildflower projects, pollinator conservation efforts, or commitment to ethical sourcing, The Scottish Bee Company is dedicated to making a difference – one jar at a time.
