Furniturebox is an online furniture company launched in 2015 by two friends from school, Monty George and Dan Beckles, at the age of just 17. What started as an eBay business has now branched out into multiple selling channels including their own website, The Range, B&Q, Amazon, Wayfair, Debenhams, Robert Dyas and Debenhams.
Monty started his first business at the age of 7 selling bread to his local bakery! That was soon followed by selling a huge variety of products on eBay including quad bikes, tech, fashion, pest control and much more. Monty saw a huge opportunity in the online furniture sector and asked Dan to put his plans for University on pause to join him in launching Furniturebox. After an incredible first year of sales and a lot of hard work, the pair haven’t looked back!
