Arcus was started by 2 Cambridge MBA graduates in 2009. The company initially focussed on bringing Cloud and other revolutionary technologies to the UK Public Sector. We initially built 3 businesses within Arcus: Consulting / Implementation / Cloud security , Cloud Software Development and Managed Services for AWS / Cloud infrastructure. In 2009, few people in the UK, let alone the Public Sector, were considering Cloud as a main plank of their technology.
Arcus has grown to over 45 customers including, Manchester City Council, Wiltshire Council, The London Borough of Haringey, Folkestone & Hythe District Council, Chesterfield Borough Council, Salford City Council, The Home Office, The Department for Transport and The Department for Culture, Media & Sport.
