NextUp is an award winning producer, distributor and streaming service for stand-up comedy. We programme weekly livestreams direct from the best comedy clubs and festivals in the UK, alongside a 300+ library of on-demand comedy specials and short sets, making NextUp the home of live comedy online.
The subscription platform is available across devices, and NextUp also has live content distribution deals with ITVx, UKTV, Amazon Channels and many more. We allow comedy fans to access the incredible diversity of the comedy circuit, whilst supporting comedians and the industry we love. We share all revenue 50/50 with the comedians on the platform, and showcase famous comedians alongside expertly scouted rising stars. In a world first, NextUp streamed the Edinburgh Festival in 2022, bringing over 60 festival shows live to homes worldwide. NextUp have delivered brand partnerships with the likes of McDonald’s Monopoly, O2 Priority Moments and Panadol, and have won four Innovate UK Grants to develop aspects of their technology and streaming infrastructure, including the Women in Innovation Award (for founder, Sarah Henley), and the Inclusive Innovation Award.
