From humble beginnings, the company was first established by husband and wife Ray and Angie Dantzic in 1987. For the last 5 years, their two sons Stuart Dantzic (Managing Director) and Brad Dantzic (Operations Director) have both played crucial roles in Caribbean Blinds becoming the leading supplier and pre-eminent name in external shading since they officially took over the business in 2017.
The family-owned firm embodies a passion for creating cool, comfortable and sustainable spaces with its range of award-winning products, including stylish patio awnings that provide instant shade and shelter, innovative external blinds that offer unbeatable solar heat and light control, and all-weather louvered roofs (branded the Outdoor Living Pod™) that enable outdoor spaces to be used all year round.
All products are manufactured in the UK to clients’ exact specifications at their factory in Sudbury, Suffolk, and fully set up for a quick and easy installation. The company use their own fitting teams to ensure a perfect installation, guaranteeing a seamless journey from concept to completion.
