Subscription coffee service snaps up former Mind Candy COO to help guide strategy and direction during its next stage of growth

Pact Coffee appoints Divinia Knowles as COO

Sometimes an influx of new talent can inject some much-need energy into your business. That’s strangely appropriate for Pact Coffee, the subscription coffee service, which has today announced that it is taking on Divinia Knowles as its new chief operational officer (COO).

It’s safe to say that Knowles has plenty of experience to bring to the role. As former COO of Mind Candy, the developer of Moshi Monsters, she worked alongside founder and former CEO Michael Acton Smith since 2006 and is also co-founder of the London Tech COO Roundtable, a group that brings together the COOs of fast-growing tech startups. She will be joining Pact Coffee to help provide strategic oversight during its next stage of intensive growth.

“I’m delighted to have hired Divinia to join Pact’s executive team and board,” said Stephen Rapoport, founder and CEO of Pact Coffee. “As soon as we met there was great chemistry; she’s focused, incredibly ambitious and a shares our values especially around delighting customers and developing the team. Divinia’s experience building a large organisation with multiple products across different geographies made her the perfect choice to join the team.”

Knowles said: “I have had an amazing time at Mind Candy but after ten years wanted to explore new opportunities. As a COO in the digital world, you can go to many different businesses and they share some of the same challenges and I would like to do some of it again. I am incredibly excited about working with the team to add as much value as I can at Pact.”

Here’s wishing both Pact and Knowles all the best.
